Description

  • fruitwood, red deer antlers
  • 155cm. high; 5ft. 1in.
mounted with real deer antlers of rare growth

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. There are construction cracks running through the backplate and an old restoration and some minor losses to the top. Chips to the tips of two points and the hand of the left cherub is missing as visible in the catalogue photograph and the other has a chip to the body. Evidence of old woodworm which appears to be no longer active.
