- approximately 268 by 200cm; 8ft. 10in., 6ft. 7in.
centred with large crowned coat-of-arms of Queen Isabella I of Castilla and King Ferdinand II of Aragon, with motto Tantomota, against fern green surround, with a scrolling foliage border on light brown ground
Condition
Overall measurements: 198cm across the top, 200cm across the bottom, 267cm along left side, 268cm along right side
Attached to a wooden batten across the top edge. Recommend batten removed and Velcro added for future hanging purposes. Some splits to top edge and some holes and losses in areas, including lower left border and area with small holes revealing white interlining, in areas of green ground lower right corner below shield and above scroll. Some other small repairs and surface spot marks. Faded muted colouration overall. Linen lining. Decorative panel.
