Condition
The canvas has been lined. There are two minor spots of paint flaking towards the centre of the lower framing edge, which are covered by the frame and may be associated to relining, and there is minor paint rubbing along the four framing edges. There is a very fine scratch towards the upper right corner on the tree. Ultra-violet light reveals a small spot of retouching in the foliage towards the bottom right section of the composition, and small scattered spots along the framing edges. The picture is in otherwise good condition and is ready to hang.
Presented in a gilt frame with nameplate.
