Condition
The canvas has not been lined. There is very minor hairline craquelure visible to the lower half of the composition, and a small stroke of green paint towards the centre of the left framing edge. Ultra-violet light reveals some scattered spots of retouching, notably in the sky, above the tower and along the river; however these are fairly small considering the size of the canvas. The picture in otherwise good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
