This tapestry is in restored and therefore clean and stable condition. There are some repairs and areas of reweaving within the border and the main subject. The repairs vary in size from very small repairs to larger areas within the motifs. For example there is some reweaving in indigo blue of the cuirass (body armour) of the standing male figures in the centre. There are areas of terracotta repair, visible in the photograph, for example within the arm of the male figure on the far left, the leg of the seated figure, highlights within the tree trunks, left corner, legs of the swans, and some lines of highlights for example around legs (bottom right corner figure) and arms of lady seated far centre right.
As a result of restoration the tapestry is in stable condition and is very decorative, with balanced composition and border.
