Description

  • mahogany
with a rectangular padded back above a bowed padded seat with straight arms carved with lotus leaves above padded sides on satyr mask supports with drapery terminating in paw front feet and sabre rear legs

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. Attractive detail to carving. There is a minor section of the disc on the top of the right arm missing which can easily be restored. The disc on the left arm has a restored break. Old very minor chips and scratches.
