centred with a vignette of classical figures in a landscape, with a floral surround on a dark brown/black ground, now mounted on a square red textile covered stretcher

Condition

Measurements: mounted square stretcher: 95cm high, 92cm wide, 3cm deep; textile visible 84cm at highest, 81cm at widest; Repairs to the areas of silk highlights of background of central landscape panel, as visible in the photograph. Faces with highlighted later eyes. Some oxidisation to browns in areas of main border and small repaired splits. In very good overall condition. Highly decorative panel. Mounted within a dark copper coloured textile covered padded square frame with octagonal recess.
