Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is a minor spot of paint flaking towards the lower left corner and along the top framing edge towards the left corner, and a pattern of hairline craquelure, notably in the sky to the left, which could benefit from stabilisation. Ultra-violet light reveals scattered spots of retouching and extended areas which fluorescence quite opaquely and could be related to old residual varnish. The picture is in otherwise good condition.
