Condition
In overall good conserved condition. The tables are slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Old marks and chips to the carving and decoration as visible from the catalogue photograph. There are construction cracks at the joints where the frieze joins the legs commensurate with age which can either be left or filled. There are some old minor restorations to the carving. There is a flowerhead chipped off the frieze to one console table and the tip of the leaf and the swags have been restored which is only visible from behind. The floral swags on the frieze of the other console table look slightly different and have possibly been recarved and there is a restored break to the front right foot when facing on the same table. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active to both tables .
The marble tops of both have old very minor marks, chips and scratches with two restored break to one top. with some areas of infill with some larger chips along the rear edge and right corner when facing and some areas of pitting which are not too noticeable. The other marble top has minor losses to the centre.
