- 27cm., 10 5/8 in.
the rounded sides supported on a spreading foot, covered overall in an attractive lavender-blue glaze splashed with purple to the interior, attached to its original sagger
Condition
The bowl and sagger have fused together in firing, the sagger has two circa 12cm., hairline rim cracks, one running approximately 5cm., in a V-shaped crack into the Jun bowl, one running approximately 5cm., into the Jun bowl, complete loss to the rim of the Jun bowl, a 5 x 1.5cm., shallow chip to the lower edge of the sagger on the exterior and other minor nibbles and chips around the body of the sagger.
