Description

  • 110cm. high, 100cm. wide; 3ft. 7 ½in., 3ft. 3 ½in.
with a vasiform upper section with female busts above a tier with S-scrolled candlearms above a further tier of eight arms issuing three further arms with a berried foliate finial; fitted for electricity

Acquired by the present owner with Burg Marquartstein.

Condition

In overall good conserved condition.The colour of the gilding is less greenish more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The chandelier is slightly dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There is some minor rubbing in places to the gilt-bronze. There are some screw holes in the section above the finial as visible from the catalogue photograph.
