Condition
The plate is flat and the paint surface is stable and slightly dirty. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals an uneven varnish and scattered spot retouchings throughout the painting, most notably in the sky, centre and right. In overall fair condition.
Offered in a reproduction Dutch-style frame with imitation tortoiseshell inlay.
