Description

  • ceramic
  • 26 cm long, 13 cm high
featuring a design of interlacing split-palmettes
decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and viridian green with black outlines
against a relief red ground, between two turquoise bands , fitted in a wooden
frame with old inventory label to reverse

Condition

The tile in overall good condition with some pitting and associated overpainting and in some cases infill, the external edges with some abrasion and minor chips also with associated restoration, colours vivid, as viewed.
