the carmine field with cloud and ribbon trellis and urns of flowers, with dark indigo border with large flowerhead motifs
Condition
Overall measurements: 273cm across the top, 273cm across the bottom, 361cm along left side, 358cm along right side (when looking at the piece in the orientation of the design).
The weave in in the opposite direction of the orientation of the design. Dense 4mm pile overall. flatweave and fringing and both ends, overlocked, with some sections of stitching loose. Original overcast side cords. Minor surface stain top left corner. Some fading of purple flowers to pink (visible on reverse, but does not detract from attractive overall appearance on the front). Very good overall condition.
