  • each 25cm. high; 9¾in.
each with domed cover concealing a nozzle, with ram's mask supports hung with tasselled chains on a beaded circular base and toupie feet

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Gilding less greenish and marble less orange and more attractive and natural than in the catalogue photograph. The cover and body of one has been restored and one tassel is missing on the same. The cover and marble body of the other vase has been restored with a very minor chip just below the gilt-bronze rim which is hardly noticeable. There are very minor chips to the marble bases of both and very minor areas of infill. Both are a bit dirty especially the tassels and chains and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. There is some minor rubbing to the gilt-bronze bases.
