Condition

Overall the condition of the capital is good, with wear and some dirt to the surface consistent with age. The two-and-a-half sides which are not carved are roughly hewn. There is some weathering to the surface, consistent with placement outside. There are several minor chips and dents to the carvings. There are a few minor losses, including to one of the flowers at the top and one of the top corners. There are a few dirt marks. There is a hole to the top.
