Condition

Overall the condition of the stone is good, with wear to the surface consistent with age, and dirt throughout. There is weathering to the surface, consistent with placement outside. There are a few losses, notably to the bottom right corner of one of the handles. The body of the urn slides into the base with a large metal dowel. There are losses to the top section of the base, and one piece has been reattached. There are several chips and abrasions to the high points and edges, notably to the edges of the bands around the body, to one of the handles, and to the base.
