  • Three Walking Sticks
  • one hallmarked  Chester, 1895
  • ivory, silver, gilt metal, wood and ebonised wood, paste-set eyes
  • each approximate length 89cm., 35in.
carved in form of bear’s head; a bear and its cubs; a boy wearing a hood of bear fur, the gilt metal mounts with initials GJ 

Condition

Overall good condition, bear head one with silver mounts has a haircrack throughout his face from right eye to bottom of jaw, the gilt metal mounted one has also a few hair cracks, the bearcub one - one cub has a forearm and paw missing
