Description

  • Bear and Snake Glove Stretchers
  • ivory
  • length 23cm., 9in. and 36cm., 14 1/8 in.
  • Both made circa 1880-1900.
together with an ivory paper knife, the handle carved with a bear and its cub, probably Germany, late 19th century 

Condition

each part of stretchers broken and restored around pins, fine carving otherwise, a few cracks throughout. Paper knife: good condition.
