Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate. The back wall of the left-facing panel contains more magenta undertones in the original, and the pink area is much brighter in the original. The overall tonality of the right-facing panel tends more towards a rich blue than purple in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Very close inspection reveals evidence of light wear to the corner tips of the small inserted canvas and a very faint and unobtrusive rub mark towards the lower edge of the blue canvas. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultraviolet light
