Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the pink is richer and more vibrant in the original.
Condition:
This work in very good condition. The bear's foot is slightly loose. Very close inspection reveals a slightly compressed impasto peak in the red pigment towards the lower right corner. There are a few irregularities to the gold leaf which are inherent to the artist's choice of medium.
