Catalogue Note
This ingenious set was designed specifically with the box made to hold it, probably with the intended use of travel. The clarity of the glass, with few impurities, testifies to its European, rather than Indian production, whereas the decoration itself is more suited to the Indian taste, recalling the designs on Mughal glass bottles.
