- silk and metal thread textile
embroidered with gilt metal threads in relief with a central medallion featuring Muhammad in a large thuluth script encircled by a calligraphic red silk band, radiating rays and four calligraphic corner roundels on a green silk ground
Condition
Minor tears scattered throughout with some associated consolidation, including re-dyeing, re-backed, some minor staining on metal threads and oxidisation, metal threads bent in areas of folding, as viewed.
