Arabic manuscript on polished paper, 42 leaves plus 2 flyleaves, 5 lines to the page, written in large muhaqqaq script, verses separated by gold roundels containing the word 'aya', catchwords, illuminated marginal medalllions marking the fifth and tenth verses containing the words 'khamsa' and 'ashra', opening double page illuminated frontispiece with one broad line of muhaqqaq text set within a cloud band against a hatched ground of large scrolling vines, brown morocco binding with tooled central stellar design

Condition
In generally good overall condition, marginal paper repairs to opening and closing leaves, pages generally clean, some stains, binding worn with some cracking at edges, spine repaired, as viewed.
