Description

  • gold and silver-inlaid brass
  • 18cm. diam.
of rounded form leading to an inverted rim, finely decorated with alternating cartouches of ducks and calligraphy to shoulder, main wide central band with eight figural roundels dispersed by inscriptive cartouches set against a geometric ground, vegetal and floral motifs below, interior well with shoal of fish encircling stellar motif  

Condition

In good condition, body and base rubbed, small dents and abrasions consistent with age, silver and gold inlay largely lost, as viewed.
