composed of a rich purple silk ground decorated in maraş style with gold and silver-gilt metal threads with sequin highlights in a circular composition featuring floral bouquets, framed with floral stems
Condition
In overall good condition, the silk ground composed of multiple textile panels, minor areas of gilt-threads worn and missing (particularly on extremities of some flowers), consistent with age, one side backed with velcro band for hanging, as viewed.
