the cylindrical wood body covered with petal-shaped mother-of-pearl pieces each set with a brass pin, with screw on top, silver-mounts, tughra of Sultan Mehmed V Reshad and sah mark to base, the words ayar 90 (i.e. silver with the fineness of 900 parts to one thousand) and the toponym Hijaz
