Description

  • gilt-copper
the body of pyriform shape on a narrow foot, the waisted neck with three ring mouldings and fitted lid, a serpentine spout and curved handle, engraved and ring-punched with foliate sprays and large flowerheads, loops for chains to each side

Condition

The body with some patches of oxidisation and encrustation, minor dents consistent with age and use, fine hairline crack on surface of spout, some scratches throughout, as viewed.
