Description

  • stell and gilt copper
the slightly curved watered-steel blade with flat back edge and incised motif near the forte, the gilt-copper hilt in the form of a horse's head decorated with incised floral decoration and accoutrement details, with leather-covered wood scabbard with a gilt-copper openwork lock and chape mounts

Condition

In good overall condition, few minor scratches on blade, the hilt with some rubbing and resulting discoloration, the scabbard worn with fading of leather, rubbing with resulting loss of gilding on scabbard mounts, as viewed.
