Description

the domed lid with petalled finial, decorated in polychrome enamels on a gold ground with cartouches framing female portraits with birds amidst floral bouquets in between, the interior of the tray featuring a central floral composition framed by birds and floral details, with openwork green palmette setting along edge, the interior an ochre colour

Condition

In overall good condition, bright and colourful, some minor dents and few chips to minor sections of enamel, particularly on openwork setting and on interior, as viewed.
