Description

  • watercolour painting framed within metal and gem-set frame
featuring an oval painted portrait of Muzaffar al-Din Shah Qajar within a thick silver mount set with rubies and diamonds, with flowerheads and leafy sprays topped by a crown above and bow-tie underneath with hanging rubies, the reverse with suspension clip

Condition

In general good condition, diamonds with foil backing, some of which slight tarnishing is visible, some later replacements to couple of stones as indicated by variety of cuts, few hairline scratches, as viewed.
