  • Lacquer
the larger penbox painted on all sides with figural cartouches and larger scrolling vegetation, maker's stamp to inner lip of outer cover; smaller penbox with central cartouche with the signature 'lutf 'Ali', surrounded by birds and shrubs, interspersed with figural cartouches

Condition

Both in good condition, the larger penbox with a small area of repair to end of the drawer, a few minor scuffs; the smaller penbox with very minor repair to one end, both with old inventory label taped to inside, as viewed.
