Description

  • 87cm. high, 139cm. wide, 57cm. deep; 2ft. 10in., 4ft. 6¾in., 1ft. 10½. in
with veneered marquetry decoration, banded and crossbanded overall, with two long drawers above carved shaped apron and carved carbiole legs ending on scroll feet

Condition

This commode has been restored in the past displaying a varnished surface. It has an open shrinking crack to top that has been repaired in the past with brackets on the underside. There are marks and scratches throughout and small losses to veneers in top drawer and between drawers. Apron has a repaired break and back feet broken and repaired. The brassware appears to be original. It does retain the escutcheon missing in the catalogue photo.
