Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Colour of gilding overall slightly less orange and more natural and the tops are slightly darker and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The marble tops have both been restored but this has been well executed and not too noticeable due to the mottling of the marble. The marble tops have some miniscule chips to the rear edge and areas of infill. Minor chips and surface dirt to the gilding which can easily be cleaned off. Some of the marble panels have been restored especially the blocks on the legs, one of which would benefit from some further minor attention as the marble is lifting slightly. There are also some old minor restorations to the mottled pink marble, which have been well executed and are hardly noticeable Evidence of old very minor worm which appears to be no longer active. There is a largish chip to gilding on the rear block of the rear left leg of one table and the gilding can easily be touched up.
