Description

  • rock crystal, gilt bronze
  • each 126cm. high., 83cm diameter; 4ft. 1½in., 2ft. 8¾in.
each with a globular and inverted bell-shaped corona suspending two graduated rings issuing twelve scrolled candlearms, both tiers pierced cast with guilloche and geometric motifs, with a pear shaped finial, the whole hung with diaper and pear shaped drops and beads, with a printed paper label, Pietro Accorsi,Via Po 55, Torino, no. 222; formerly fitted for electricity

Condition

This charming pair of chandeliers is in overall good conserved condition. They have had repairs to some of the bronze candlearms and some of the bronze middle poles are slightly bent. There are some replacement drops and 5 drops missing but are hardly noticeable. Minor chips and flaws to crystal as to be expected.
