In overall good conserved condition. They are ready to be placed. The colour of the gilding and the marble tops are slightly darker and much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Old minor marks and chips to the marble tops especially along the rear edge both of which have been restored and some minor areas of infill. There are some very minor chips to the carving and gilding which are hardly noticeable. The stretcher on one table has one acanthus spray missing which is not too noticeable and on the other there are nails on the underside indicating that possibly the other stretcher is missing its three acanthus sprays. One table top has a medium sized chip to the rear edge approx. 3x 2cm. The table on page 39 has a minor section of the carved giltwood moulded edge missing just above the acanthus spray on the knee as visible in the photograph.
