Condition

In overall good conserved condition. The colour overall is slightly darker and the colour of the marble is much more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. There are some minor and medium size chips and minor restorations to the marble top which are not too noticeable due the mottling of the marble which is most attractive. Old marks, chips and scratches and minor losses to the painted decoration and there are some minor losses to the carving and some old minor restorations. Evidence of old minor worm which appears to be no longer active. There are some age cracks and there are construction cracks at the joints which would benefit from some minor attention and can easily be filled and touched up. The front right leg has suffered where the decoration has been chipped off especially on the reverse of the rear leg which will need some attention. The table is a little dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste.
