- each 97cm. high., 169.5cm. wide., 54cm. deep; 3ft 2¼in., 5ft. 6¾in., 1ft. 9¼in.
each with a later rectangular verde antico marble top, the frieze centred by the coat-of-arms of Salamone di Nicosice of Sicily flanked by musical trophies and scrolling foliage on flaring baluster turned front supports with foliate capitals and ribbon-tied floral swags, the bases with musical trophies, the rear pilasters with a pair of addorsed grotesques seated on a neo-classical tazza flanked by two grotesque birds on a concave sided plinth on paw feet with ribbon-tied musical trophies; some restorations
Condition
In overall good condition. The white marble is less pink and more cream coloured and the tops are lighter in colour and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph. There is a 14x 5cm section missing from the rear left corner of one top but this can easily be restored. Large chip to front left corner of one top and various other chips..Scattered chips. There is a crack in the socle and square base at the foot of one leg on one table. There s a greenish stain on the rear support of one not visible in the photograph.The white marble is discoloured in places with various old minor restorations.
