  • each 101cm. high; 3ft. 3¾in. high
one in the form of a female bacchic figure the other with a male bacchic figure and draped in a lion pelt each supporting on their shoulder a baluster urn cast with vine leaves and grapes the upper section with six detachable scrolled candlearms cast with foliage and with spirally fluted nozzles centred by a further raised candle nozzle on a rectangular socle and leaf cast plinth base

Condition

In overall good condition. Colour of the gilding is more golden and less greenish and more attractive than in the catalogue photograph.The piece is a little rather dirty and would benefit from a light clean according to taste especially the reverse of the plinths. Old very minor marks and scratches commensurate with age and usage. The quality of the gilt-bronze casting is good.
