painted with purple-edged quatrefoil panels of flowering plants, crossed swords marks in underglaze-blue

Provenance

Acquired by the Grandfather of the current owner in the 1920's;
Thence by family descent

Condition

In overall good condition. There is a small glaze flake to the underside of the saucer. There is a kiln blemish to one cartouche on the cover which has been partially covered with a small blue insect.
