Most probably commissioned by George Granville Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 2nd Duke of Sutherland (d. 1861) for Trentham Hall, Staffordshire;
Acquired by the Naser al-Din Shah Qajar, Shah of Persia (d. 1896) in 1873 following a state visit to Trentham Hall.

Condition

In excellent restored condition. One marble top with repaired breaks. These cabinets are ready to place.
