Description

  • 94.5cm. high, 196cm. wide, 68cm. deep; 3ft. 1¼in., 6ft. 5¼in., 2ft. 2¾in.
the D-shaped top with ebony stringing above a fluted frieze with one central drawer above a recessed cupboard, lined in green baize flanked on both sides by curved panel doors, the left door enclosing a shelf, between lion-headed fluted tapering legs with Ionic columns and paw feet headed by blocks mounted with later brass plaques, with four Corinthian fluted columns topped with lion masks, on paw feet, the handles replaced

Condition

In good conserved condition. Surface re-finished. The two curved cupboards are locked and the keys are not present. Chips and scratches to escutcheons. The far left paw foot has a repaired break and is missing one of its brass plaques as is the far right hand paw. Old marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use, notably to paw feet.
