  • 6cm., 2 3/8 in. high
of rectangular form, each side centred with classical figures en grisaille imitating cameos on a brown ground, inscribed 'souvenir' in gold letters above, on a scrolled gold scroll and blue enamel ground within green and white spotted borders, with five pierced ivory leaves and gold-topped pencil holder

some minor losses to white enamel border around medallion, enamel around inscription probably restored, otherwise good condition. charming object
