the circular Roman micromosaic panels, circa 1780, representing the Doves of Pliny on the lid, a flower on the base, the glass sides within three-coloured gold mounts chased with acanthus leaves, French prestige marks, including maker's mark of Jean fromery, charge and discharge of J.B. Fouache and date letter N
