Description

  • 93cm high., 39.5cm wide; 3ft ½in., 1ft. 3½in.
with an adjustable pleated silk shade within a foliate gilt-bronze border the turned stem issuing four candlearms the fluted nozzles with lion masks the lower section of the stem with tiers of inverted bell shaped acanthus cast discs on a stepped plinth with ribbon-tied fluting swags on a square white marble base

Condition

In overall very good conserved condition. The colour of the gilding is more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The colour of the shade is slightly darker. There are some miniscule chips to the white marble base which are hardly noticeable. Attractive detail to the casting.
