Condition

Overall in good restored condition. Re-gilt (though the piece may have originally been painted) with minor chips, losses and tarnishing - notably to the scrolled ends - commensurate with age and use. Re-upholstered, which would benefit from a clean. Signs of old woodworm which no longer appear to be active. Movement along joints notably to the scrolled ends. The underside formerly with baton support.
