the backrest and seat with central needlework panels worked in petit point, both panels within later gros point foliate needlework, on cabriole legs joined by stretchers

Condition
Needlework: The petit point is 18th century and has some minor repairs and holes as to be expected but is stable. The gros point is 18th century and later, notably the gros point to the seat back is later. Overall with minor restoration and wholes and would benefit from a clean.
Frame: The back legs and rear stretcher are later replacements. The front legs formerly with castors. Old marks and scratches throughout commensurate with age and use.
