in two sections, the moulded cornice above a single cupboard door enclosing a shaped mirror plate with three adjustable shelves above two candle slides with three graduated short drawers and two long drawers on a plinth base

Formerly in the collection of Dr. Tony Ryan at Lyons Demesne, County Kildare, Ireland.

Condition

An attractive piece in reasonable original condition. The lock and hinges have new fillets inserted according to their use. The lower hinge of the cupboard door has ruptured the mahogany veneer to the interior of the carcass. With a later mirror plate. The brasses are apparently original. The surface is very dry and would benefit from waxing according to taste. With sign of shrinkage along the returns. With some old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
