Description

  • 160cm. high., 154cm. wide; 5ft. 3in., 5ft ¾in.
of rectangular form with parcel-gilt mouldings the whole applied with glass elliptical and geometric motifs engraved with flowers and leaves, the scrolled cresting centred by a crown above an eagle issuing from a basket

Condition

In need of some minor attention. There are some chips and rubbing to the parcel gilding as visible from the catalogue photograph. There are some breaks to some of the glass panels as visible from the catalogue photograph and losses of glass especially to the cresting which can easily be replaced. There are also some losses generally as visible from the catalogue photograph which can either be left or restored. Some of the blue colour has degraded in certain places. The mirror has been rebacked.
