painted in the centre with a view of the Grand Place, Brussels, inside a gilt frame with indistinct title, the blue border with formal gilt designs, signed F.Faber à Bruxelles in gilding, 21.25cm., 8 1/2 in. diameter; also two D'Arte Frères blue ground plates, one painted with shells and insects amongst ferns, the other painted with a topographical view, red stencilled marks; and a Paris porcelain plate painted with a rural landscape

Condition

Brussels plate- some rubbing to gilding in well, particularly to the inscription at the bottom. Some wear to gilding on rim. Shallow slice chip to underside of rim, approx. 2cm. by 1cm. Paris plate with shells- some areas of wear to the cavetto. Minor wear to the gilding. Paris plate with topographical view- some wear to the cavetto. Minor wear to gilding. Plate with landscape- minor wear.
